Selfcatering ccomodation in Mijas - Malaga. Holiday homes , villas and apartments for rent.

Short drive from the coast.

15 minutes away from Malaga Airport , 20 minutes away from Malaga and Marbella, situated in the mountains at an altitude of 425m and just 4km away from the sea. As well as mountains and sea there is much to do and visit.

Escudo de Míjas Fortress walls- Remaining walls of the fortress that protected the village. The gardens have been designed to have flowers all year round and the view point is the prettiest and most spectacular of the coast.

Shrine of the Calvario –situated on the side of the mountain, you pass through thick woodland which makes it a popular for walks. The shrine only opens at Easter, but its worth just to see the spectacular view of the coast and Mediterranean Sea.

The municipality of Mijas takes in all that country between the mountain range that gives it its name and the sea. The terrain thus ascends in a short distance and at times rather abruptly from sea level on the coast to the highest peak in the territory (1,130 metres). The ravines, peaks and more or less gentle hills still have part of their indigenous vegetation despite the area’s spectacular urban development making it ever more difficult to maintain grazing lands and olive groves, which yield little income in this day and age.
